Not only did we get a wealth of knowledge, Lauren and I also had the pleasure of chatting with Mike Colter (Luke Cage) about our love of thrift shopping! Among the many talented actors that were there, we also saw Dax Shepard & even let Katja Herbers know that she was dressed beautifully! (Cause she WAS!)
I also learned some history about Tribeca when I ran into a friend randomly on the subway, whom I hadn't seen in forever. Did you know that Robert DeNiro started the festival with Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff. It is reported that they started it after 9/11 to breathe life back into the area and some reports say to help ease peoples minds with art.
All of this knowledge, the interactions, the invaluable experiences cost: $30.00
So next time you may think these things are out of reach, don't go to the bar one night or eat at home for a few days, and head out to Tribeca, for one hell of a time!
What an incredible night at the Tribeca Film Festival. So, I have lived in NYC for almost 4 years now and knew this was a big thing but never thought about going cause I thought it would be too expensive. Well, guess again!
My friend Lauren and I went to go see "Evil" a new Tv show in CBS from creators Michelle and Robert King (The Good Wife, The Good Fight). We had the pleasure of hearing all the main actors in the series talk about their experiences on the show, some fun spoilers, and soak in the fun & vibrant atmosphere that this incredible group of people created for the audience.
