Thank you Cabin Fever Film Festival for giving us a platform to create and display our Quarantine art! “It’s The Little Things” a short film we did all in home. A female driven film! 🔥
I want to personally thank my quarantine buddies, Shannon Gazay and Sean O’Connor for spending some time creating a fun project in our home, and to my friends Jo-anne Lee and Christine B. Maldonado for sending in their videos for us to use! This is the 2nd film I wrote, acted in and edited while in Quarantine with my amazing husband. Next week, one of the themes is Musical and oh boy! Do we have a fun one to share!

A few years ago, I went to see “Waitress” with one of my best friends, Christine Jovan. It was a magical experience for two California girls to be in a Broadway theater, seeing one of our favorite singer-songwriters, Sara Bareilles, also a Ca girl, have her own Broadway musical. Of course we were both obsessed! Over the years, Sara Bareilles’s music has gotten us through hard times, uplifting times, and times of joy. I can’t remember a road trip where we didn’t put on “One Sweet Love” and sing our hearts out.
Now, Christine during Quarantine, is an essential worker. Isolated from many people, and physical affection, like most of us need. (And let me tell you, coming from someone who doesn’t like to be touched, she gives great hugs. She basically broke me down...lol) This song is dedicated you, my Talented, beautiful as bright friend! Thank you for your love, your undying loyalty and love! You’re a bright shining light in the world and anyone who has you in their lives should count themselves lucky. I do, everyday!✨ Signed,
Sealed, Delivered, I’m yourrrrrr Voice! Very excited and thankful to say that I booked a Voice Over for a major Brand!✨ I spent a lot of time on the bus in San Francisco singing this song. In the wee hours of the AM. Way, way, way in the back, so the bus driver wouldn't be annoyed by my day dreaming of singing this on Broadway in New york city.
I may be singing it from my home in Brooklyn, but damn it! I am singing it in New York, wearing a sparkly green dress during a pandemic. For now, I am so okay with that. I am thankful for the ability to record it, sing it and for my health. |
