About 6 months ago, I got cast as the Medical Examiner for "The Perfect Murder" on the ID Channel and it comes out today.
Fun (short) story, I didn't think I had a shot in hell with it cause it looked like they wanted someone between 30-40 years old, but I figured "What the Hell" and studied my ass off. There was a lot of Medical jargon to learn, but with my roommates help, I had not only memorized the long paragraph, I also knew exactly what I was talking about.
I go to the audition. I feel great! Two days later I get the call! I am so excited. I ask how much of the script they were going to use. And it turns out, none of the medical procedural stuff was included...lol.. I asked about it and the lady on the other line said "We just wanted to see if you could do it." And I could!
It was a really great experience and a hell of a lot of fun!
Now, the first TV credit is on my IMDB page and comes out today! June 21st,2017
