When I was a little girl, I remember first wanting to be a writer. To create worlds for peoples imaginations to run wild in. Then I wanted to be a Pediatrician, then an Egyptologist, then Indiana Jones, then a Space captain...and the list grew. One night while in Jr High School, I was sitting down looking at how long it would take me to get degrees in several fields of study, when it hit me. I didn't want to be all these things for real. I wanted the adventures that came with it. I wanted a reason to go and learn about Egyptology but not become a professor of it. I wanted the excitement & thrills Indiana Jones had without the real world danger of actually dying. And as I sat there watching a ghostly man smiling over Harrison Ford say "You Chose Wisely". I too felt that I had chosen wisely, to dedicate myself to constant learning of the art form known as acting. Moving to New York has been apart of that journey and this Season at TAPNYC was the first time I have felt in my long pursuit to make a career out of a passion, that I achieved a huge milestone. I am apart of an amazing group of people that share the same passion for acting, as well as surrounded by supportive Directors and piers. I had the honor to sing in front of several top industry agents, managers and casting directors as well as perform my monologue I've been working on all season.
I have met amazing people along the way, and will be working with them on various projects, including a live show from "Britt And Molly" and our Debut of a sketch Web Series "The Britt And Molly Show" which is already in the works this month.
I was extremely honored to be apart of Troupe 15, the singers troupe at TAP NYC and I cannot wait for the next season to start up!
