Today I got the pleasure to work with Isaac Stahl, directing his first music video. This isn't a typical music video though. Isaac Stahl, Founder of Squash Squash Oh My Gosh.com, is an eco-friendly, child focused website, dedicated to educating children about sustainable living through catchy music and quirky videos.
If you have kids, or even if you don't, there is something to learn at Squash Squash Oh My Gosh Website
I am apart of the group on Facebook called "Seattle Filmmakers and Actors." It has been a great resource to look for actors and workshops on filmmaking. As some of you may know, I am working on a web series called "Puppet People: A Dark Comedy Musical." It has been great getting to work on a show that is solely a web series. There has been a lot more time to work on just the show.
While looking at the "Seattle Filmmakers and Actors" page, there was a post for a Pod Cast with Thuc Nyguyen about her company The Bitch Pack.
She talks about how her company focuses on women in film and expanding on what women talk about in film.
Women are generally depicted as solely focused on men. Boyfriends, Husbands, that guy in the bar, but in reality, women are not always talking about men. There are other topics that can be brought up. Her company is trying to help expand this idea of creating more women characters who are not just talking about relationships.
I found this to be a great interview and I hope you check it out!
