It was a great day on the set of Flower Shop of Whore-ers on May 25th, 2013. This scene will be only showcased in the DVD version of the show. A few spoilers: This scene takes place in the Back Stage of the Flower Shop. There is quite a bit of dialogue between the girls of the Shop and you find out what everyones relationships are to one another.
I wrote this scene after the script was already done, mainly because of the amazing talent of the 4 actresses showcased in this scene.
This is the first time in the film you will really get to know the characters bringing more depth to the dancing ladies and will hopefully transport you into what it must have been like to be one of them during the Wild West in the 1850's.
Want to see this clip and other scenes not in the Theatrical show?
We are giving a sneak peek of the full short film to those who donate early to Diabla's Indie Go Go. It might look like we have a budget but that's because we are good at what we do. In actuality, Christine Jovan, Suzil Von Schtupt, Sean O'Connor and I have been paying for everything out of pocket. With your help, not only will you allow us to showcase these amazing performers the way they deserve to be showcased but you also will be apart of the experience that we are creating, being the first to see what we have been laboring over with love and drive.

Diabla Productions was filming their 5th day of shooting on May 25th, 2013 in Oakland Ca, where the girls in the Flower Shop are back stage doing their thing. Molly Gazay, writer and director of the show gave up the reins this day to be an actress in the film. Portraying the Part of Grace, a british loud mouth. She finds out what the others in this little group of ladies have known about the life of a brothel girl in this establishment.

FLOWER SHOP OF WHORE-ERS
July 22nd- August 17th, 2013
The Exit Theater San Francisco, Ca 7:30pm-10:00pm
Today was amazing day for filming. We have such a great cast and crew I cannot believe it. First off, the THE CREW: I have two of the best minds behind the camera. Sean O'Connor and Edoardo De Armas. These two guys truly know their craft. The shots are so eloquently executed and their working relationship flows like they've been working together forever. As the Director and Writer of the script, it is refreshing to be able to just work with the actors on their acting and not have to worry about whether or not the lighting is right or if the ISO on the camera is correct. These guys have it all.
MUA and HAIR: Christine Jovan and Suzil Von Schtupt. The other two ladies who run the company with me have stepped in to do Hair and Make-up and they are doing a fabulous job. With a crash course in a "how to" tutorial, they have gone above and beyond the call of duty, with not only their MUA and Hair but also with the ability to act and help with crew work as well.
THE ACTORS: I cannont say enough about the amazing cast. Tonight we had the pleasure of filming Marc Berman, Jeffery Schmidt, Kathy Mello, Christine Jovan and Sean O'Connor. That's Right! Our cast and crew both do dual roles.
This is what is so great about working with dedlcated individuals who love what they do and want to have fun while doing a project that is fun and they are passionate about.
Tonight we were filming a scene that will NOT be scene any where except for on the DVD and at film festivals (once we send it out) where The Sheriff has seen what the small city of San Francisco is all about and the Deputy is guiding him through it. They have some fun banter and run into two suspicious ladies with their "Gentlemen friend".
