We also got to meet some really kick ass people last night! Like these two beautiful girl! Can't wait to do more classes and meet more people. Its a big city but with such a community of talented, fun amazing people, it's easy to feel at home!
Britt And Molly did a stage reading of "Imaginary" our Pilot we are submitting to Amazon! So wish us luck! We had a great group of people tonight including: Ann Bonner, Jessica Webb, Jake Stafford, Adrian Davidson and of course Brittanie Sheree & Molly Gazay.
We are looking to get this picked up by Amazon or anyone else who will give us money to put this together. If not, that's okay! We will be putting it together ourselves and pulling from our amazing group of people to be apart of it!
But we would really love to have Amazon or another group pick it up! lol... We shall see what happens...lol
Until then! check out Britt And Molly
In this crazy city that never sleeps, (or at least I don't anymore) there are so many things to do, and one of my new favorite things to do is UCB's Open Mic Night for Sketch and Improv! Brittanie Sheree (my Comedy Partner) and I performed one of our songs this last Sunday "Turning 30" with a great response from the crowd. I will be going back this week with Britt to do monologues we wrote for The Actors Project, to get a feel for how they are received! (And it doesn't hurt to do some practice outside of rehearsal!)
The following week, we will be at it again with another original song!
I am extremely excited about UCB! I've been wanting to go there forever, and was in love with the T.V. show growing up. Being able to say I've performed at UCB is a dream come true (Even a small feat like this).
It has shown me a variety of avenues where my comedic style can gravitate towards, especially with the small character vignettes, where you do 3 short character based monologues. I am planning on doing this over the course of the next few months! Cannot wait to tell you how it goes!
I never thought in a millions years I would ever do Stand Up, but you know what?!? I did and it was glorious! I talked about penis, farts, scottish warriors and R&R but not the kind you're thinking of....lol.... I hope you can take a gander and check it out! But be forewarned: THIS IS R comedy, not for language but for content.
So not for the weak of dark humor.
Thanks so much for your support and hope you enjoy!
I'm a woman of all trades. Love what I do and I do what I love.
